1. WESTMINSTER ABBEY This extraordinary gothic church needs be seen to truly appreciate it's beauty. Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, married Prince William here! Dating back over 925 years, Westminster Abbey is timeless and a historical masterpiece in England that will outlive future generations. 2. BIG BEN Big Ben is the iconic symbol of London and does not disappoint! Dominating the London skyline, this antique beauty is simply not to be missed. Be sure to listen out for the incredible sounds of the Big Ben ringing every hour on the hour. It can even be heard inside Parliament! 3. LONDON EYE A huge tourist attraction, the London Eye offers locals and visitors alike 360 panoramic views of London. Enjoy spotting famous icons such as Big Ben & Westminster Abbey while soaking in the general beauty of London from the sky. 4. BUCKINGHAM PALACE Who could pass up the opportunity to visit the royal palace? With one of London's most popular tourist attractions, Buckingham palace is well know for it's famous changing of the guard service. It is honestly an incredible experience not to be missed! 5. HYDE PARK Hyde park is one of London's largest parks and one of 8 in the royal park collection. The scenery here is simply exquisite. If you're in London during winter don't miss out Hyde Park turning into the magical Winter Wonderland christmas markets. 6. TOWER OF LONDON This historic castle is honestly breathtaking and quite fittingly, her majesty the Queen's fortress. I had the privilege of visiting the Tower of London in December last year when the castle was magically covered in 888,246 poppies in commemoration of WWI soldiers. 7. BRITISH MUSEUM The British Museum is as spectacular from the outside as it is from the inside. Home to incredible artefacts and artwork from around the world, this museum should be top on your list of attractions when visiting London! The best news? Entry is free! 8. TRAFALGAR SQUARE Not only is Trafalgar Square one of the most expensive Monopoly properties to own, it is one of the world's most famous landmarks. You may recognise Trafalgar Square from the most recent Captain America movie as the extraordinary fountain is hard to miss. 9. ST PAUL'S CATHEDRAL This cathedral is simply one of the most beautiful churches in the world. St Paul's is rich with history and offers visitors stunning interior making it well worth the visit! 10. EVERYTHING RED Last by not least, a trip to London would not be complete without snapping the city's famous red icons! The iconic red telephone boxes and those unmissable large red double decker buses make you instantly take in where in the world you are after laying eyes on them. |
